My Purpose

The purpose of my work is to help people understand the grieving process through a collective of lived experiences. I want to show people that it’s possible to live a meaningful life after a profound loss. That when you find that right balance in living with your pain, you will see beautiful things. That love transcends death.

AFFIRMATIONS SERIES

I imagine my little heart warrior today, questioning and wondering about being different from most kids around her. With that I imagine her, and kids like her using affirmations on a daily basis to help maintain a strong sense of self and find their inner balance. I have been using many of these affirmations for myself and I hope you find them to be just as transformative as they have been for me.

Life After Loss

Becoming a mother to a child with a congenital heart defect, adapting to the needs of a medically fragile child, and ultimately grieving her death, has led me on a journey in healing, finding peace, and deep joy in my life today. What does Shakti mean?

Based in Hindu mythology, Shakti is defined as energy, ability, strength, effort, power and capability. It is the primordial cosmic energy, and represents the dynamic forces that are thought to move through the universe. This energy is thought of as creative, sustaining, as well as destructive, and is sometimes referred to as auspicious source energy.
